Three Psuedo-Celebrities I Am Tired Of

Is it just me, or am I the only person who is sick and tired of hearing about Just Bieber, Chelsea Clinton, and Lindsay Lohan? I swear, it makes me gag. There is nothing even vaguely interesting or talented about any of these individuals, and yet, they are everywhere! Here's exactly what I cannot stand about these people who do not even deserve to be considered 'celebrities'.

Justin Bieber is perhaps the most ridiculous excuse for a recording artist I have ever heard since Britney Spears moaned and gyrated her way onto the scene years ago. This young man cannot sing, cannot dance, and apparently cannot locate a barber, either. His vocals are worse than past 'teen stars' by far- even Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass sang better than this when they were this close to puberty! The dancing in his videos feature no-name backup dancers taking center stage, which isn't so bad considering he has no ability for doing it himself. And his appearance, ugh! Just what another generation of squealing teens needs- another boy that looks exactly like a girl. I'm all for freedom of sexual preference, but let's not blur the lines too early, okay? Someone please send this child home to Canada and send him back after puberty and several years of intensive dance and voice training. Until then, I couldn't care less and his very presence on the airwaves grates like a dentist's drill on a sensitive nerve.

As far as Chelsea Clinton is concerned, why on Earth should her marriage be front-page news? She is just the daughter of an ex-president. Did we all expect her stay single the rest of her life? Of course she got married to some rich banker in a gigantic, ostentatious display of wealth. It's the most predictable thing for her to do. I woke up this morning breathing- where's my headline? Chelsea would be no one if her parents had been normal, average people. Other than achieving minor scholastic merits and stumping for her parents' political aims, she's no one of note. There is certainly nothing special about her to warrant all this fawning and attention.

And as for Lindsay Lohan, where to even begin? Lindsay Lohan started out a freckle-faced, boring, predictable teen on cutesy comedies and then promptly imploded upon reaching her eighteenth birthday. Spare me the sob stories of her harsh upbringing and lack of guidance. This girl is not special. There a thousands of other emaciated women roaming the streets of Hollywood that have actually made contributions to film that far surpass the comedic flops of The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday. People burn out and melt down every day. I find it disgusting that she is getting a reduced sentence in a one-bunk Hilton (pun intended) in a fancy jail. I think she should have to serve her entire sentence with the general population. She should bunk down with a tattooed, 400-pound bullish woman nick-named Butch or Stallion. This would be fitting for her crimes, and would be exactly what would happen to any normal citizen who did what she has done.

In short, The Bieber, LiLo, and Chelsea and her unfortunate gums all need to take a hike and get off the front page of MSN and Yahoo when I want to see the stock tickers or real news! I am sick of how such psuedo-celebrities are lauded and worshiped. It's disgusting and unworthy of us as human beings.
