So here are 3 reasons to Choose Natural Hair Care:
1. Environmentally friendly: Natural hair care products[1] are made from naturally occurring products like aloe vera, coconut, almonds, eggs, and a combination of other such ingredients. These materials are all made from plants and herbs and do not have 'chemical waste' when being made that potentially damages the environment nor are they tested on animals. So even though you may not be a supporter of the green movement using natural hair care products will take you a step in the right direction.
2. No synthetic damage to your health and hair: Most shampoos and dies contain a wide variety of chemical ingredients. Check the back label and you may see names like Polyethylene Glycol, DEA (Diethanolamine) and Ammonium Laureth Sulfate just to name a few. We are so used to 'scientific jargon' that we have stopped questioning their need in beauty products. However, some of these chemicals are carcinogenic in properties others cause hair loss and still others dry the scalp.
Most are tested on animals and have adverse effects and yet, are deemed safe for human use. It is suggested by research that, methylisothiazoline, caused brain damage when tested on laboratory rats[2]. It is found in many popular shampoo brands you pick up at the local drugstore. That is why it is recommended that a person not use the same product over a long period of time-mainly because of the side effects it may cause. Natural hair care products are made from plant and herbal extracts and are perfect for use in the long term or short term.
3. Consumer Friendly: Since the ingredients of the natural hair care product are all environmentally friendly and use no chemicals they have no adverse effect on the health. They are also not as expensive as many of the big brands that have to do a lot of testing before releasing the product and the effect on the consumer's hair long term is healthy and without side effects. All in all natural hair care products have all the advantages of making the hair the crowning glory of the consumer.
