Three Reasons Glenn Beck is a Modern Day Moses
Before we can make the case for Glenn Beck's personal attributes that compare him to one of the most revered religious leaders, we must also consider the context of our current plight. God tasked Moses to lead his people out of Egypt. Realizing there would not be consensus, God cast 10 plagues under the leadership of King Pharaoh. Today we have our modern day version of 10 plagues under President Obama and a corrupt Congress. Together they have motivated the people to seek refuge in a leader such as Glenn Beck.
Ten Plagues (It was really hard to narrow the list down to ten by the way)
2. Historically high unemployment for exceptionally long periods
4. Failure to secure our border
5. Oil Spill
6. National Debt and abusive spending
7. Nuclear Proliferation allowed to continue with our enemies
8. Financial Reform that ignores the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac problem
9. Moratorium on Off Shore Drilling
10. Strained Relations with Israel and other allies
Now that the comfort level of the people has reached an all-time high, it is only natural that a leader emerges.
Here are the three reasons Glenn Beck could be considered a modern day Moses.
1. Grounded in Truth and not ashamed of his faith
2. Has been given a platform to engage the people to gain a large following
3. White House fears him, just as King Pharaoh feared Moses
Glenn Beck espouses a message of Faith, Hope and Charity in a time our nation desperately needs healing. It is a vision that is grounded in truth and reminding the people of the divine appointment given this great nation. Glenn Beck's message is faith based and accredited to his relationship with God. by removing the veil of deciet, our nation will plot a course to regain strength through individualism and liberty.
From the depths of substance abuse to a modern day leader speaking a message that resonates with the core values we embrace as a center-right country resisting a shove to the left, Glenn Beck is a guiding light. Most important is that Glenn Beck does not seek or embrace a political advantage. His leadership is not about right versus wrong. Glenn Beck's message is about truth versus deceit. This is a message that is interwoven in the Bible. Much like Moses, he is energized by a higher calling not out of personal greed or ambition.
Those in power fear Glenn Beck. Government exploits the very people they serve once they seek power grabs outside the limits of the constitution. When an administration is on the verge of impeachment, they lash out at their enemies. It is my belief that the fear and attacks solidify and grow Glenn Beck's followership. Furthermore, it is clear that Glenn Beck's solid relationship with his God empower him to overcome his own insecurities as a mortal man and expose the deceit that has been insidiously cast upon this great nation.
Glenn Beck is a modern day Moses that will lead God's people to recapture the promised land they have been granted over 200 years ago but allowed complicity in deceit to erode its sacred framework.

Actually, I guess contradicting yourself is one of the main lessons of the bible.
The only survivor that fateful day was a young boy who was thrown from the bus by his father seconds before it hit the bottom.
This young boy suffered severe brain damage from hitting a rock head first and will have to wear a football helmet and drool cup for the remainder of his life. But his survival proved to me that miracles do happen because God does exist and loves me. The Lord caused that accident to bring me back to his flock.
Hallelujah!
Praise Jesus! Just open your eyes to his miracles and you will see him everywhere.

What is so difficult for liberal progressives to understand that Beck is speculating but doing that with known facts or believed ones? I certainly believe that God has used Glenn in ways that nobody else could have been used. But then, God does that with all of us if we are willing. And while working to help America, He and Sarah Palin have been torpedoed beacons of light in 2010. I admire them both so very much and thank them for their bravery.

Wait what? have you read the Bible? I have some serious doubts. As far as i know Moses was not a jerk with a tv show who makes money by causing senseless panic. Maybe i missed some major stuff in the news but Americans aren't enslaved, and if we were i would not want Glenn Beck to be the one to save us.
I have to say when i clicked on this i thought it was a joke, and overall i was not disappointed because i laughed a lot. I have a hard time trusting this writers critical thinking skills considering that plague 5 is the oil spill and plague 9 is a moratorium on offshore drilling. I totally agree though that leading the Jewish people out of Egypt and attempting to deny people healthcare are essentially the same. I for one know God doesnt want poor people to be healthy. I'm sure he would rather Glenn Beck get rich encouraging people to let the sick die.
