Three Royal Oak Ordinance Proposals Will Be on the November Ballet
Neighborhood: Royal Oak
Royal Oak, MI 48067
United States of America
On November 2, Royal Oak residents will have the opportunity to vote on three different proposed ordinances. One of the ordinances deals with a parking lot and the other two deal with golf courses, both Normandy Oaks and the Royal Oak Golf Course.

Proposed ordinance 2010-12, if passed, would approve the City Commission's recommendation that the course be designated for continued public use. The course has been already been in use this way for a number of years. A similar proposed ordinance, 2010-13, would designate Normandy Oaks Golf Course as a public recreational facility. Again, the course has been operated in this way for a number of years.

The third proposed ordinance, 2010-14, would designate the Memorial Park Parking Lot as a public recreational facility. The parking lot is used primarily by visitors to Memorial Park and the ordinance, if passed, would keep it that way.
