If you look up how to stay young on the internet, you'll find hoards of information on using creamy blush, the right lipstick shade or investing in enhanced anti-aging creams. Underneath the advice often lies a hidden intention to try and get you go spend more money on beauty products like makeup, anti aging products and even surgical procedures like face lifts. Then there are the supposedly more gentle anti agers like botox. However, there are secrets to looking younger that don't cost much money at all. in fact these secrets are absolutely free.

Do Things Quicker
There's a distinct difference between people who act older and people who act younger. Watch children, teens and twenty-somethings closely. They often do things quickly. They run instead of walk. Surprise them by tapping them on the shoulder and they jump up in surprise. If they are late for work, they hustle out the door, jump in their car and speed down the highway. Ask them to go out tonight and they'll throw on some clothes and rush out the door. To look and feel younger, act like a younger person by doing things quicker. Don't move slowly. Instead, put vigor and life in every step you take. When someone speaks to you, look at them with wide eyes like a curious, youthful teen, forever interested in learning and processing new information. Doing so will make you look younger to everyone who sees you because you'll look active, always ready to take life by storm.

To get a sense of this, think of someone you know who you think acts older than their age. Observe how they move. Then look at someone who you think acts younger than their age. Observe the vigor in their step and the energy they continue to have despite the fact that they are no longer in their teens or twenties.

Stay happy on the inside
Stress can cause wrinkles because it causes the body to release Cortisol. Chronic stress cannot only cause wrinkling, but also sagging and dryness. Therefore, to stay young, stay happy, joyful and peaceful on the inside. Keep stress at bay by not sweating the small stuff and not taking yourself so seriously. Think happy thoughts. Keep company with positive people. Learn to recognize people who like to complain, gossip, and feed off negative emotions like sadness and anger. If you can stay happy and stress free on the inside, you'll be sure to keep the lines and wrinkles off of your face and instead, you'll experience a lifetime of buoyant, healthy looking, youthful skin.

Avoid negative facial expressions
Furrowing your eyebrows may seem like a good way to show you are concentrating on something, but if you do it too often, you could look years older than your age before you know it. Frowning can also add years to your face. Instead, show your concentration by making eye contact with people and smiling when they say something to you. That way you won't add any lines, crevices, or wrinkles to your face.

Creams may help, but real preventative aging starts from the inside out. Enjoy your life. Want what you have and stay young forever.
