Three Simple Mocktails (cocktails Minus the Alcohol) for the Holidays

Alexis Devan
If you are like me and like to entertain your guests but don't know or have any desire to be a domestic goddess when it comes to the kitchen, I have a simple solution for you. I have three simple non-alcoholic beverages all with 3 ingredients or less that you can easily make more of when it runs out and doesn't need any preparation. While it's nice to have a at least two types of beers and a bottle of wine on the table, you should remember to make something for your guests that may be watching their weight, a friend of Bill W, or just simply abstain for drinking. Here are three incredibly simple, but guaranteed to impress recipes:

The Marmalade Queen

Ingredients: 1.5 cups of milk

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

3 teaspoons of frozen orange juice concentrate

Put all three ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. After putting in a glass top the smoothie with two scoops of unblended vanilla ice cream. Serve immediately with a spoon and a straw.

The Feminine Mystique

5 oz. Of organic sparkling cider

A splash of grenadine

A splash of limejuice

Service chilled in a martini glass and with half a strawberry slice as garnish

Fauxdonnay

6 ounces of white grape 100% juice

1 tablespoon of limejuice

Mix and serve chilled on the rocks. Garnish with 2 fresh mint leaves
