As Christmas comes around, you might be trying to find some neat craft ideas to do. You can create some cute penguin crafts with materials that you could get at a local retail or grocery store and it will not cost very much. If you need some help coming up with craft ideas, you should try some of these simple penguin crafts.

Penguin Pals are an easy craft idea you can do using a few simple materials. You are going to need an old sock, 2 liter bottle, black foam sheet, orange foam sheet, white foam sheet, spray paint, and craft glue or hot glue. All you need to do to make your penguin pal is spray paint the plastic 2 liter bottle white and cut out 2 wings and a set of eyes from the black foam sheets. With your orange foam sheet, you need to cut out a small beak either by a free-hand design or stencil and also cut some small feet for your penguin. When the paint dries on the plastic 2 liter bottle, you can glue the wings to the sides of the bottle and the feet to the bottom of the bottle. You also need to glue on the eyes and beak, and then you need to cut your sock to desired size and place it on the top of the bottle as a hat. Using a rubber band or hair band, you can keep the sock in place as a hat and add any desired materials if you want to have something on the top of the head. The penguin pals are an easy and fun project that takes a few minutes and can be done by gathering products at your local craft or retail store with a cost being about 5 dollars.

The Penguin Paper Craft is a very easy craft that can be done simply by printing a free penguin template. All you need for this project is some scissors, printer, and some glue. Print out the penguin template and then put the template together by gluing the stomach which is the white circle on the larger black circle. The penguin head which is the smaller black circle should then be glued on the large black circle. Glue the eyes, beak, wings, and feet to the black paper and then you can add ribbons or strings to decorate the top of the penguin. This is a very simple printable penguin craft that takes about five minutes and uses only printer ink. If you would prefer to get your children involved you can use the black and white template and have them color the penguin.

The Egg Carton Penguin is also a great holiday penguin craft you can make with little time and little effort and is very entertaining. For this project you are going to need an egg carton, black paint, orange paint, white paint, black paper, orange paper, a pipe cleaner, 2 pompoms, glue, and scissors. First off, you need to cut the two egg cartons so that you have two cups each and paint them black. Let the black paint dry and then use your white paint to paint the belly and face of the penguin. You then should cut the egg carton cup and then trim it and paint feet on it using the orange paint. Using your craft paper, cut out a beak and two wings, then use a black marker to draw eyes. You do not have to use the black marker for the eyes if you have some craft eyes around your house, you could use those just as good. Glue your wings and beak to the penguin and then attach your body to the penguin. Cut a small piece of the pipe cleaner and glue each side to a pompom so that you have some earmuffs for your penguin. You can use any color pipe cleaner for this part but you should use the same color pompoms as you do pipe cleaner for the right look. This is a simple and fun project for anyone to do and it looks so cute, not to mention the materials will cost you around six dollars at your local craft store.
