Take the silver and gold ribbon and twist them together kind of like a braid, and then you can tie them together at the top and bottom so they will stay together. You can use sections of the silver and gold ribbon to tie back curtains around your house or you can let them hang on the top of the curtain rods as a border around your curtains. If you have a hallway or entrance into your house, you can put up some of the silver and gold ribbon to invite people into your home and make a border around the top of the walls, using tape to hold it together to the wall. By just placing the ribbons together in certain locations around your house you can add the New Year's feel to any room in your home and also have a simple decoration that you can use every year. You could also add some confetti to the ribbons if you want to make the decoration even more festive but the confetti can get a little messy and fall from the ribbon into your floor so be careful.
