three sisters, we came so far by your side.
Our world was filled with care and endless love,
though not always the best as kids, we tried.
Our oldest Sis now gone to be with you,
we miss you both, but Heaven's far away.
Dear Mom and Sis away beyond the blue,
we'll meet again another golden day.
Lovely river rolls near streets paved with gold,
no loneliness, no sorrow, no more pain.
We will be with Jesus - never grow old,
angels always near on this celestial plane.
Beautiful buildings -- colors of grandeur,
bejeweled with flowers blooming through the night.
Small pond sparkles with stars -- haute couture,
where diamonds reflect as roses of white.

This is just beautiful.
Beautiful! Bet Mom and sis are smiling down on you :)
You write with such endearing tenderness, Janice! I really like this poem!!! Thank you!!
Wow...Janice. This is so very, very special. You are exactly right, that Great Day of reunion in heaven will be so glorious, I can't wait. And I get to meet you in person my faithful AC friend. This is strong in emotions and deep in memories. I am proud of what you have achieved considering how difficult this must have been. I never knew my father, never even saw his picture. All the more reason to be a loving and always in touch father and grandfather. This one is so special. Just as the writer is. God bless for you have blessed me. I thank you and thank God FOR you Janice.
This is a wonderful tribute to your mom and sis. They live on through your poetry and you.
