Have your child first use the red paint on their smallest finger and tell them to arch their finger as they move across the paper. Repeat using every color of the rainbow with any finger you want them to use as long as they can arch their finger. The point is to make a rainbow you want them to slant their finger so that it starts low on the paper then goes up and come back down just like a real rainbow. Then all you have to do is clean them up while waiting for the paint to dry for a few hours. This is a very simple and fun craft that children like to do and it is not very messy as long as you do not put too much paint out for your child to use.
