Whenever we want to go out to a seafood dinner at a local restaurant, we have a hard time deciding between our three favorite ones. My husband and I prefer to eat locally at family owned places and we've found that the seafood quality is better! It is a simply decorated place that has been zagat rated. They offer everything from clams, fish, shrimp and lobster. They offer a variety of specials including their $24.99 Surf & Turf which allows you to select a variety of seafood choices. I would suggest you call ahead for reservations. They are almost always needed as the Clam Tavern has a regular crowd and is not that large of a place. You will love it if you try it!

I have had the lobster special and it is perfect! I found it to be delicious and a good bargain as well.
