Interested in buying dirt-cheap electronics and other tech gadgets? Who isn't? Some of the best deals may be found online through tech websites based in mainland China. Many of these have excellent reputations and good reviews, helping assure nervous customers. Of course, buying overseas can be a new experience for many first-timers. It's important to remember a few things when buying from these websites. First, items are often non-name brand, with little or no warranty or defective product guarantees. Secondly, shipping (at least standard) almost always is slow. Keep in mind the distance these items are traveling! On average, items take around 3 weeks to arrive. If you aren't a in rush, this is totally fine. However, if you need that SD card the next day, then Best Buy or Radioshack may be a better option. Still interested? Check out these top Chinese tech retailers today!
MeritLine
I've scored excellent deals on electronics through Meritline. They offer free shipping on all orders (standard shipping) and purportedly carry "over 60,00" gadgets. Mini keyboards, iPad cases, MP3 players, TV wall mounts and more may be found at Meritline. They also have a large selection of RC toys, including helicopters, cars, tanks and boats.
SunTek Store
One key difference of SunTek Store from the other tech Chinese online retailors is the outdoor gear they offer. They have a pretty extensive selective, with everything from camouflage boonie hats to microfishing pens. Before placing an order with Suntek Store, I carefully searched online review websites for info on this tech and gadget seller. Interestingly, many of the reviews were positive, but those over the last year or so were decidedly negative. Still, I decided to give SunTek Store a chance, but paid for my order with Paypal instead of a credit card. Paypal's buyer protection program has helped me in the past and I wanted to have its security for this order. Fortunately, the order was processed without any additional hassles and I received an email indicating the item had shipped with an estimated delivery time frame. The items I ordered did take a considerable period of time to arrive (roughly 2.5-3 weeks), but this is pretty average for items ordered from mainland China, with basic shipping. All in all, a fairly pleasant shopping experience!
DealXtreme
Rounding out this list of tech bargain websites is DealXtreme. It's a must-visit site for some stellar deals on electronic gadgets. The flashlight selection is also excellent, especially if you are looking for affordable LED beams. Shipping times are fairly standard, from what I've experienced, with free standard shipping the norm for items on DealXtreme. Want something a little faster? Check out the US/UK/Australia section. Here, items are stored in local warehouses, allowing for faster shipping times (still free shipping). It's worth noting that these items may be more expensive than buying it from overseas on the main website.
