It is a man's world, and for a man, there is wealth of opportunity in terms of career choice. With hard work a man can make a success of most careers; however, there are some jobs that are so high-paying that it will allow one to make more money even in the initial phases of the career. Many may believe the money is in the new world of computers; however, the traditional jobs are still paying the highest. Sure the demands of the job themselves may have changed, but the title remains the same and is highly paid.

Marketing Manager

A Marketing Manager, in various industries like finance, advertising, manufacturing and more are one of the highest paid employees in the job market. You can become a Marketing Manager within 4 to 6 years, and after another 6 to 8 years of job experience, you can start earning a salary of $100,000 per year. Marketing managers are a step below CEOs and have a variety of responsibilities. The job description varies according to the size of the organization and can include anything from as small as checking product feasibility to presenting financial analytics.

Engineering Manager

With 6 to 7 years of training any man can become an engineering manager. The highest salary for an engineering manager with 10 years' experience is $140,210 a year. An engineering manager will be responsible for most production activities on a project and work with other managers on the project in terms of determining technical and scientific goals. Engineers who specialize in semiconductors and electronic components manufacturing can expect to make even more.

Surgeon

The best way to ensure a six-figure salary is to become a surgeon.
