It is an unfortunate reality of air travel. However, there are some U.S. airports that can make your next flight a fun experience (Yes, it is possible!). So next time you are forced to book a non-direct flight- Consider stopping at one of these airports!

Charlotte International Airport: Charlotte, NC is a city full of southern charm and even their airport reflects the comfortable way of life. What makes this airport stand out from the rest on the east coast? It has its own mall! There is an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options right at your fingertips. This airport is also one of the largest in the area, therefore; crowding is rarely a problem. It offers ample seating for those tired travelers and of course, a Starbucks at every turn. Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport: Minneapolis, Minnesota. This airport is consistently rated one of the best in the nation. It provides a central location to anywhere in the mid-western states. The airport itself boats over 106 retail shops and restaurants - There is something for every traveler here! One of the unique things about the MSP Airport is that the state of Minnesota does not tax apparel; therefore, this airport is an excellent place to pick up just about anything you need at a decent price! George Bush Intercontinental Airport is the second largest in all of Texas, but it is known for its convenient and easy air travel. This airport boasts 25,000 parking spots with the lowest rates in the nation, a renowned travel safety program, and of course a wide array of shopping/eating choices. What makes the George Bush Intercontinental Airport so unique is that is contains its very own art museum. With dozens of pieces of beautiful artwork prominently displayed, this airport is definitely one of the most eye-friendly. There is also a church on site for those travelers who wish to attend religious services. The George Bush Intercontinental Airport offers something for every kind of traveler and a guaranteed unique flight experience.
