Yes, I know you're working diligently at your computer, dashing off important memos and laying out that most-important spreadsheet. You don't have time to be distracted by the Internet and all those pesky cat videos or song parodies. But you do need a break, don't you? Take a quick look at these three viral videos that will perk up your day and get you talking.

Octopus Steals My Video Camera

Many people who live by the sea or vacation there have snorkeled or scuba dived, but not many have had the experience of Victor Huang. Huang, a New Zealand transplant originally from San Francisco, was filming underwater life in the Wahine Memorial off the south coast of Wellington, New Zealand in April 2010 when he had a surprise encounter with an octopus. He was swimming along, filming the beautiful sea life, when a tentacle reached out and grabbed his arm. He felt a brief moment of panic before he realized that the real target of the tentacle was his blue Panasonic Lumix video camera. The octopus swam away with his prize, filming the entire getaway scene.

Victor gave chase and after a few minutes caught up with the camera thief. He watched for a few seconds and then decided to offer the octopus his spear gun. The bait was taken and Victor reached in and grabbed his camera, just as the octo was about to put the camera in its mouth. The sea creature wasn't ready to leave his newfound friend however, and latched onto the spear gun as Victor swam near the ocean floor.

Kownacki leaps over the catcher

Ever since the days of ABC's Wide World of Sports, fans have loved to see players do extraordinary feats to score or to keep someone from scoring. In this viral hit from April 2010 Brian Kownacki from Fordham University employs an astonishing gymnastic move that allows him to avoid a tag at home and score against Iona College. The video has made the rounds of all the Internet video spots. It is from Fordham Sports, with audio by Gregg Caserta of WFUV of New York City.

How We Shower

There's a world of difference between men and women. This video explores the rituals that each gender uses during the simple task of taking a shower. I've never watched my husband take a shower so I don't know how accurate the male version is (and upon seeing it I hope it's not accurate!) but the female version was pretty much right on track for me. Though I don't preen so much in front of the mirror! This video has gotten more than one million hits on the College Humor website.
