Sometimes guys have a bad day. Guys have a difficult time expressing their feelings. In my household a bad day means anger and yelling, generally at inanimate objects. But, there are ways to cheer up the man in your life if he's having a bad day. You need to remember to take care how you say things, you don't want him getting even more agitated. What you want to do is get him calmed down and get his mind off of his frustrations.
What's your guys favorite thing to do? Does he have any hobbies? I would hope that these are questions you can answer, and the answers to these questions will give you your first idea of how to cheer up your guy. My guy loves fishing. So, when he is in a bad mood and needs some cheering up some things I like to do for him include getting him a new fishing toy (pole, tackle, etc.) or by finding him a new spot to fish. He isn't a fan of going alone, but I'm not a big fan of fishing. So, to cheer him up I grab a book, or my camera, and go along with him. It gets him out of the house and gets his mind off things.
Another way to cheer up your guy is by giving him a clean environment. Nothing adds to frustration more than a messy home. Wash the dishes and put them away, do the laundry and put it away, take out the trash and vacuum. Do a little organizing, but don't move his stuff out of his sight or you may aggravate him later when he can't find something! A clean environment will give him a little reason to relax. Now sit him down, turn on his favorite program or movie and have a little snuggle time!
The last thing, which work for cheering up both men and women, is a nice romantic evening. He'll have no reason not to cheer up when you make him his favorite meal and eat it by candle light with some of his favorite, more relaxing, music playing in the background. After dinner share a dessert and then slip off to the bedroom to finish off your romantic evening. Behind that closed door I'll let you take charge of the cheering up ideas.
Don't let your man be grumpy, use these steps to cheer him up before he brings you down!
