Three Ways to Help Lindsay Lohan

Dani D.
Once on top of Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan, was doing extremely well especially after Mean Girls was released. That movie put her on top and most thought she was on her way to becoming one of today's princess actresses, but unfortunately her life has seemed to plummet. Now most watch and hope that she doesn't fall further into the black hole of Hollywood nightlife never recovering from teen fame, which usually leads to an overdose, jail time, or other consequences. She just got fired from a movie and her dad is taking legal action on her to enforce conservatorship, which might just be a day late and a dollar short. What could Lindsay do to get back on track?

3.)Stop abusing the booze!

It's clear to see that Lindsay took the nightlife and made it her life. With the nightlife comes alcohol. Her father being an alcoholic shouldn't be an excuse as to why she is one (a reason...sure...an excuse...no). She has tried to stop this habit, but it keeps coming back, probably because she can't seem to stay away from the club. Going out is fine if you have some self control, recovering alcoholics probably shouldn't go to a bar though. It may be really hard to beat an addiction, but if she wants to get her career back on track then she should really consider slowing down with the wild nights.

2.) Clear herself of all bad demons.

Although most think that our parents are the ones who are really there for us and are the ones we can depend on, it is clear to see in Lindsay's experience is not the case. Dina Lohan was reportedly going out with Lindsay before she was even of age. (Drew Barrymore had a similar experience as a child star, but was able to break the mold). Not to say that she is a bad parent, but there are choices one should make as a parent and the main one is to actually be a parent. Michael Lohan, Lindsay's father, he also hasn't been the best, especially by what is shown in the media. With jail time he missed out and wasn't there; he had his own battle with alcohol and his battle with Dina that seems to be continuous, now holding press conferences to discuss family issues, etc; it seems that he also is unaware of how to handle the situation. Now he is trying to get conservatorship, but it is hard to see where Michael's heart is, sure he loves his daughter, but it seems like he is handling things terribly, which is why Lindsay needs to walk away from her parents and find a mentor or someone who could help her. Her parents just aren't putting the right ideas together or so it seems, and the more they seem to do, the more she seems to stray.

1.) Clean up her act.

After taking care of her health (quit drinking heavily and abusing anything else) she should really focus on her career. According to Tmz.com, the reason she was fired from this last movie, The Other Side, is because she is not bankable. Another claim came from studio executive, James G. Robinson, who said she was "irresponsible and unprofessional" and was dropped from a film in 2007 citing "insurance reasons" it is clear to see why she would be considered, "Not Bankable". Lindsay needs to try to get all the "bad" out of her life, which could be her mother who seems to be an enabler, her father who seems to come up randomly in her life and is never a constant or consistant, boyfriends and/or girlfriends and focus on getting back to the Mean Girls status. Understanding that Mean Girls can't happen again, but if she works towards doing better than maybe a studio wouldn't think twice about putting her in a film.

Only time will tell just what the fate of Lindsay will be, hopefully at some point she will get everything pieced back together; she is a die-heart Marilyn Monroe fan, but hopefully her star won't fade pre-maturely, following the tragedy of Monroe.
