Another company that I have spent most of my time with is ChaCha. ChaCha is a free texting service that allows individuals to text any question via their cell phone to 242242. ChaCha utilizes human contractors to 'expedite' the incoming questions and then search for the answer utilizing the Internet. The four types of contracting jobs available at ChaCha are Expeditors, Generalists, Specialists and Voice Transcribers. It is in my personal experience that it is a much more difficult hiring process as compared to ChaCha. The skills testing is more cumbersome and harder to pass. KGB is also not as flexible as ChaCha. In addition, you are required to hit a minimum dollar amount or you can be dismissed. Busy times generally are late at night and weekends. You do have the opportunity to advance by becoming a 'Quality Agent' where you review outgoing answers.

Although these three examples will not allow an individual to quit their day job and earn a significant living, there are great ways to supplement your income and help pay some monthly bills or help achieve a long needed vacation.
