Thrifty and Effective Eye Make-up Remover

Made in the U.S.A

Since many of us are looking for the thriftiest solutions we can find for our everyday needs, I decided to try a new product at my local Dollar General store. Before you decide that Dollar General has nothing in the way of skin care or other products you'd ever consider using, read this review on their Skin Selects Eye Make-up Remover.

The product comes in a 4 ounce bottle with its name and this labeled on the front of the bottle: "compare to L'Oreal." The blue plastic bottle with a white cap is easy to manage.

Further labeling states that the product is free of oil, safe for contact lens wearers, and suitable for all skin types; this appealed to me and decided for the price of $2.50, I would give the product a try.

To use, all you need to do is dab a cotton ball or pad with the eye make-up remover solution, close your eyelid and gently sweep your lash area until mascara and other eye make-up products are removed. Repeat the process with the other eye in the same manner. After 2-3 sweeps across my eyelids, my make-up is no more.

There is a light fragrant smell to the Skin Selects Eye Make-up Remover that is pleasant, though hardly noticeable upon use. I've experienced no irritation to my eyes or surrounding skin since I began using this product. My skin is neither oily nor dry and drawn after using the product.

I am not a contact lens wearer, so I cannot speak to the veracity of the product's claim in that area.

The label also ensures that satisfaction is 100% guaranteed and the Skin Selects Eye Make-up Remover is made in the United States.

I believe this product to be a good value, both in price and performance.

Thanks for the review. I will be needing some eye makeup remover soon. My current eye makeup remover is Loreal. Think I will give this one a try to save some money. Thanks again.

I use water-proof mascara and this product removes it gently and efficiently.

I would love to try that product, how does it work with mascara? Thats the most annoying part of makeup removal

I do a good bit of shopping at dollar stores; effects of inflation, they used to be dime stores. Of course, I don't buy eye makeup remover...
