Through the Eyes of a Newborn

4sho

Look though the eyes of a newborn,
For age can deteriorate one's soul and sight.
Without seeing, many grow to feel forlorn.

Lack of feeling can make one's heart lovelorn.
Open one's heart and eyes, a world anew and bright;
Look through the eyes of a newborn.

We are naturally stubborn;
Which in turn, causes so much blight.
Without seeing, many grow to feel forlorn.

Anew, one can take in what was once harmful; eyes reborn,
A flame will sear temporarily, only to be replaced by a warm light.
Look though the eyes of a newborn.

Trapped in iced over feelings daily, one is way worn.
Many are scarred from the universal internal fight.
Without seeing, many grow to feel forlorn.

All minds and emotions are freeborn;
With this knowledge, one feels no fright.
Look though the eyes of a newborn.
Without seeing, many grow to feel forlorn.
