Almost all of us have to take the head aches reliving tablets every other day. Such pain killers result in to more harm than the benefits as they can cause many other harmful side effects on our body. The yoga has an answer for this. The simple breathing exercises, known as pranayama can immensely help one and all. While the common pain killer tablets take around an hour for its effect, such simple pranayama techniques can fetch you the results just within 15 minutes. The Murchha pranayama is one such pranayama that cures the head ache, tremors, weakness of the muscles and depression feelings. Investment of only 5 minutes a day can get you the fitness worth millions of dollars.

Take your posture in padhmasana with both your hands resting on your knees, with the thumbs touching the first fingers of your respective hands. Close your eyes and concentrate between the two eyes in the center of your forehead by taking slow and deep breaths. Around 4 to 5 such slow and deep breaths would make you ready to start. Inhale through both your nostril very slowly and gradually till your both the lungs are full of fresh air. Raise your head and tilt it slightly back so that your eyes are looking towards the sky. Open your eyes at this stage and keep staring in the sky without blinking. Retain your breath as long as you can in this position. Then, close your eyes and come back to your normal position, breathing out very slowly. Repeat this exercise at least for 5 times daily on regular basis. If you are suffering from severe head ache, perform this pranayama for around 8 to 10 times. Initially, you may feel giddy after doing this pranayama only for 2 to 3 times. But continue slowly and increase the number very gradually, day after day. The key factor is in extremely slow exhalation. Such exhalation must take around 30 to 40 seconds. It is not advisable to immediately switch over to your routine after doing this pranayama. Rest and relax for around couple of minutes peacefully before starting your fast daily routine. Your system will get used to this pranayama within around 4 to 5 days and then, you will not feel any giddiness or uneasiness while doing it.

This pranayama is extremely useful in curing severe head aches, migraine, tremors of the Parkinson's diseases, and weakness of muscles. It also improves your eye sight and sharpens the memory. The brain becomes very active and can tackle many problems simultaneously. This pranayama is most suitable for those who are at very high management position and have to take care of so many issues at a time. If Dhyana or meditation is performed after this pranayama, the intensity of Dhyana would be very high and you can reach in to Samadhi state rapidly. This pranayama helps in awakening of kundalini in long run. This pranayama increases the energy level of all the plexus thus making your entire body full of vigor and strength. The depression patients also are highly benefited by this exercise. The only word of caution for this pranayama is to perform it very slowly as if in slow motion and avoid its overdoing at any cost. As otherwise, this pranayama is extremely beneficial to all of us even if we do not get head aches regularly.
