Throw an American Idol Birthday Party

- Using a standard sheet cake you can either decorate a microphone on the cake or cut the sheet cake into the shape of an American Idol microphone. You could also just simply use frosting to spell American Idol Birthday on the cake.

- PBJ sandwiches will always be a hit and can be cut into American Idol themes shapes. One common one would be a star. Simply make the sandwiches and cut them into the shape and serve.

- For all the beverages you can serve them in plastic champagne glasses fro that feel of glamour.

- Dress-Up; An easy game would be to have the attendees dress up like there favorite American Idol Character or host. There can be judging and prizes can be awarded for the best costume.

- A simple Karaoke machine can recreate American Idol in your living room. You can have parents as the judges or if some of the kids do not want to sing they can pretend to be the American Idol Judges for the competition.

- Many party stores will have officially licensed American Idol knick-knacks. You will probably find an entire section dedicated to them. Target is one that has several different things you can get.

- Anything music related can be used as well. Plastic microphones, musical note pens, etc can be a cheaper alternative.
