Throw a Halloween Party Inspired by the Twilight Saga

Halloween is coming soon and is the chance to live out your dress up fantasy. For fans of the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer, this means fulfilling their fantasy of being a part of the Cullen Family of Vampire. Here are a few essential ways to prepare for a Twilight Saga Themed Halloween Party.

Invitation

Send out email or the traditional postcard invitation. Use Twilight Series Images or book covers and attach them to your invitation card or email to get your guests hyped up for the party.

Decoration

Red and Black should be the color of the party. Apply these 2 colors to your decoration from your balloons, ribbons and even your dishes and plates. Make the entire scene a visual of red and black and you get that feel of dark and dangerous that is the twilight series.

If you have the talent or have friends who do, get some drawings and paintings related to the twilight series and post them on the walls.

And use props that are symbols in the book such as blood and apples and spread them around the party area at various points.

Lighting

Replace your regular light bulb with red and black ones. Also set up a spot light black light bulb to create an eerie effect in one area of the house or outside the front door.

Food

Use red color related food and drink if possible, Example are red wine, red syrup drinks, red meat and chili sauce! Also if you can, get the Twilight Bar which is exclusive to Barnes and Noble. It comes wrapped with a Twilight cover sleeve and is priced at $4.95.

Music

Games

Possible games are a scavenger hunt or murder mystery involving items from the books. Examples are fake blood, forks, biology books, apples. You can also have Twilight Series merchandise (books, shirts, posters) as prize for the winners.

The Characters

If you have the cash, hire a magician or dancers and have the performers dress up as characters from the books to carry out the performance. This adds a unique twist to your party.

Secondly, get everybody to dress up as the characters from the book. Some tips for this are as follow.

Make your skin very pale but not overboard. Use a luminance power or foundation makeup that is marble like and look like porcelain.

Use eye make to emphasis how the twilight vampire eye changes. If they're thirsty, black and purple bruises appear below their eyes.

If they have hunted and fulfilled their thirst, their eyes will be a liquid golden topaz.

Make use of colored contact lens if needed.

Add some sparkles to your skin, because twilight vampire skin sparkles like diamond in the sunlight.

Have razor sharp teeth that are pearly white instead of the typical vampire fangs. Use fake fangs that are small and subtle.

Twilight vampires use seductive voices and scent. Also they do not breathe or sleep.
