Thunder Over the Boardwalk-The Atlantic City Airshow: Getting there
The Atlantic City Expressway is the most direct road leading to Atlantic City. You can access it from Route 30 (White Horse Pike), Routes 40/322, and the Garden State Parkway exit 38. You can also opt for New Jersey Transit which will run extra train service on the Atlantic City Rail Line on August 19th for show attendees.
Thunder Over the Boardwalk-The Atlantic City Airshow: Where to park
I've found the best place to park if you're going to see the Atlantic City Airshow is the parking garage for either Caesar's Palace or Bally's Casino/Hotel. This could cost anywhere from $5-$10. You can also park at Borgata Hotel and Casino for $5 and take a shuttle transport to the event. The last shuttle leaves at 2pm.
Thunder Over the Boardwalk-The Atlantic City Airshow: Where to Sit
Again, based on my experience, the best place to view the Atlantic City Airshow is from the 3rd floor deck of the
Pier Shops at Caesar's Palace. But you better get there early! You can also lounge on the beach for your viewing pleasure. Boaters will be restricted except for Coast Guard and police. Handicapped viewing is available at Montpelier Avenue and Boardwalk.
Thunder Over the Boardwalk-The Atlantic City Airshow: What to bring
A few things I recommend you bring if you are going to the Atlantic City Airshow: Sunscreen, earplugs, water,
snacks, and camera.

Good review= Portland always has a yearly air show and it is great fun.
Sounds like a great time!
I love air shows because I love to see our military air craft. I went to a show in Erie once and swear that the pilot saluted us back!
