Thundercats, Thundercats, Thundercats, HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Return of the Thundercats: Cartoon Hits Televisions in 2011 (Sneak-Peak Picture Available); Hits Movie Theaters in 2012
If you were lucky, you glimpsed Thundercats on their day of birth - January 23rd, 1985 - the original air date of the first two animated episodes - Exodus and The Unholy Alliance - of Thundercats. THUNDERCATS, HO! Sorry, I got carried away. If you weren't so lucky, you didn't catch your first episode of the animated cartoon until September 11th, 1985, when it began airing regularly, to the tune of racking up 65 episodes by the season finale on December 20th, 1985. That's 100 days of Thundercats. The cartoon played during 65% of the days between September 11th, 1985 and December 20th, 1985. That's 4.55 new episodes a week.
If you ever watched animated cartoons in the mid to late eighties, you're probably familiar with Lion-O's call, "THUNDERCATS, HO!" One hundred thirty episodes of the animated series were televised during the two seasons Thundercats aired in 1985 and 1986. Season two of the animated series compressed 65 episodes into 86 days. That's 5.29 new episodes a week.
Nonetheless, Thundercats only lasted two television seasons, in spite of its' 8.3/10 rating on the Internet Movie DataBase. Who wouldn't want to see "A team of humanoid cats fight evil in their adopted home world."?
I guess we're ready to see humanoid cats fight evil, again, outside of cult classic circles.

I wasn't born until '90 but I LOVED the Thundercats and the fact that they're doing this... well, I was really excited at first, but I'm not so sure if they're gonna change things up. Hm... Regardless, I do want to see it.
