If you are a vegetarian it can be hard to find a place to eat that has something you can eat.Being a vegan can be even worse. Living in a big city can make it easier to find a good vegetarian place though. If you live in a health conscious area like California it makes it easier to find vegetarian dinning. In Orange County if you are looking for good vegetarian dining you will find it in Anaheim at Thuyen Vien.

Thuyen Vien is located at 1740 Euclid Street in Anaheim, California. Thuyen Vien serves vegetarian, vegan, and Vietnamese food. Most ethnic foods tends to be a little pricier then more traditional foods. Any vegetarian and especially vegan can tell you that vegetarian and vegan food also ends up costing them more. However Thuyen Vien is actually not only a good price for what you get it is a good price for food in general.

If you are not a vegetarian or vegan you do not need to be turned off by Thuyen Vien though since they serve foods that are not vegan or vegetarian. Thuyen Vien serves Vietnamese food, which is not vegetarian. If you do not like Vietnamese food though you will not like Thuyen Vien but otherwise you will probably love it.

For the non vegan and vegetarians one of Thuyen Vien most popular foods is the garlic chicken. They also serve some fake spicy chicken which looks and taste close to chicken but is vegan. The mango salad is also a popular vegan and vegetarian meal choice. Besides Vietnamese, vegetarian, and vegan food they serve their own special smoothies inspired by those foods. The smoothies are not for everyone though since they are not your traditional smoothie but a Vietnamese and vegan inspired version.

Thuyen Vien is a nice family owned restaurant. The food is great and the prices are great too. If you are a vegan or vegetarian this is the place for you. Others will enjoy the Vietnamese food too though so don't be scared by the vegan part of the menu.
