With a prayer that's on my heart
I pray that you will take it
And fix it from the start
I'm on my knees and asking
For your help oh Lord I plead
You see it's much too big
And its your help I need.
Will you give an answer
Do you hear me when I cry
Can you show a sign
Do you hear me when I sigh
You taught me how to pray
So many years ago
On my knees and asking
Hands folded, head bent low
It's now that I remember
Here on bended knee
It's not my will but Thine
I know you hear my plea.
