Ticked Off at Your Husband? Irritated With Your Wife?

Frustrated About Your Kids Grades? Tired of "Some Glitch"? GET OVER IT!

No, I'm not being a total jerk and drop all those plans to write a scathing comment beginning with the words..."who are you to....." Don't shoot the messenger folks, for that's what I am today, the messenger of the theme of the day.

For March 9, has been declared national "GET OVER IT DAY" by Jeff Goldblatt of Atlanta. For all those wondering, Jeff's inspiration for this day of putting all things behind you that are irritating, frustrating and causing you undue pain, came from personal experience during what we all know as "a difficult breakup". I'm sure there are many of you who can relate to his pain.... probably more than would like to admit it if truth be known! I know that there are several people in my past present and probably even future that I'd like to "get over".

This my friends is a website with headers such as "Get over it", Seriously GET OVER IT", "Parties" and even "deals/free stuff", has upon further appraisal nearly everything a person could need to "get over" that breakup, where to locate a party celebrating this day, recorded messages (semi-prank of course) to see which business' and schools are closed today to celebrate this all important day and advice from an expert all round out this irreverent look at those who just can't "get over it".

My personal favorite of the entire site is on the front page where you can write what you'd like to "get over" and then watch it go up in flames~ Personally, there are more than a few things and people who drive me to distraction and cause more grey hair and wrinkles than I'd like to admit, so I expect this area will be getting more than it's share of attention from yours truly. I can think of a few college professors from youth who gave me low grades, that guy who stiffed me on a bar bill and my dorm mate who took my guy to formal whom I'd like to see go up in flames but I digress. So, in conclusion, I invite any and all who read this article to post below what they really want to "get over" or if it is of a personal nature simply indicate so, and exactly one week after this has been posted, this article will be deleted as a symbol of "getting over" all those things in life that make us old before our time, cause us to gnash our teeth or pull our hair out in frustration.
