When it comes to getting tickets to a playoff game, there are several ways to get tickets, no matter how long it has been sold out. Depending on the game and the demand for the tickets, you may have to pay a little extra for them, but you can still get them. Here is a look at four methods you can use to easily score tickets to any game or even you want to attend, including the NBA playoff games.

Team Website

Many teams are still offering ticket packages on their websites, as well as a forum where you can buy tickets from season ticket holders that can not make the games. This is a great way to get tickets for close to the market price. Since it is the team's site, they will have some very good seats and you can be assured that they are not a scam or fake tickets.

Ticket Master

No matter what event you are trying to get into, Ticket Master is one place that almost always has tickets. They will cost a little more than buying at the stadium, but that is just their service fee. You will be guaranteed the seats that you pay for through this site. There are a couple other ticket sites out there that do work and they may be a little cheaper, but Ticket Master may be a little more dependable, easy to deal with, and reliable.

Craigslist

You can get almost anything you need from Craig's list, whether it is legal or not. This includes tickets to just about anything. Sometimes you can find some good deals here. Many times, you will run into cyber scalpers and will be paying quite a bit more for your tickets. You will also need to know your local laws. There are many states where you can sell your tickets, as long as it is not within a certain distance of the stadium. There are, however, some states where you can not resell your tickets at all. Do not pay for the tickets over the internet if you are using Craig's list. You can easily get ripped off this way. You want to set up a neutral meeting place, Target, Starbucks, and Wal-Marts are good spots, where you can make the deal. This will allow you to check the tickets to make sure of the game, the seat locations, and the dates. You may still get ripped off, but this will lessen the probability of that happening.

Scalpers

This is illegal just about everywhere across the nation. In fact, outside Nebraska, I do not know of any place where you do not risk being arrested for scalping tickets or buying scalped tickets. When you are buying them, it is less likely you will be targeted by the police. This is the most expensive way to buy tickets. Scalpers will often double to price of the tickets for a normal game. When it comes to playoffs and a sold out game, the price will be a bargain at twice the gate price. These tickets will commonly go for over four times the marked price.

If you ended up without playoff tickets for your favorite NBA team, it is not too late. You can often get these tickets legally and without risk of being ripped off. You can also use some of the more risky and illegal methods, but those are not recommended. You can easily be watching the game from a cell with your new best friend, Bubba. Just try not to drop the soap, or you could miss a whole quarter of the game.
