Tickets on Sale for 2007 Oklahoma State Fair
The fair will run from Thursday, September 13 through Sunday, September 23 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. Disney on Ice will once again be at the fair with their Princess Wishes show. In a news release from July 2, Tim O'Toole, president and general manager of the Oklahoma State Fair, says the show will "not only feature seven different princesses, but a whole cast of characters that will entertain a wide variety of audiences." Disney on Ice shows will run from September 13 to September 18. Ticket prices range from $14 to $35 and include an outside gate admission if purchased by September 12.
PRCA Rodeo events will be at the Oklahoma State Fair on September 21, 22 and 23. Events include bull riding, timed events and rough stock riders. Cowboys and cowgirls will be competing for big money in this traditional rodeo event.
Fair visitors can enjoy country entertainers each evening after the rodeo action. Craig Morgan will perform on Friday, September 21. Morgan's hist include I Got You, Redneck Yacht Club, Almost Home and That's What I Love About Sunday.
Gary Allen will perform on Saturday and The Oak Ridge Boys on Sunday afternoon. Allen has sold more than five million records and had back-to-back number one hits on country radio. The Oak Ridge Boys have had many hits including Elvira, Bobbie Sue and Dream On. Tickets for the rodeo and concerts range from $18 to $22 and include outside gate admission if purchased by September 12.
Gate admission tickets for the Oklahoma State Fair are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 11, and free for children 5 and under. If tickets for Disney on Ice or the PRCA Rodeo are not purchased by September 12, state fair visitors will have to pay the gate admission price in addition to the cost of the special event ticket.
