As your child or children progress with their reading, the stories in the books get harder. After each story there is also a set of questions for the child to answer. The questions have multiple choice answers. As soon as the child makes a choice and selects enter, it then tells them if they are wrong or right. After all the answers have been done then they are given a grade for the questions that they answered. They are also awarded tickets.
These tickets can be used in two ways. With these tickets that they are awarded, they can purchase things to put into their own personal clubhouse that they are given on tickettoread.com. They also have the option to play games on the game system within the clubhouse. Playing these games is also educational and will cost them tickets. But it gives them the chance to win more tickets when they read more stories and finish the questions. The second option with the tickets is a clubhouse catalog that they can purchase things to decorate with. These items vary in price and items. After purchase these items are displayed around the clubhouse if wanted.
There is an option for the children or child to edit the clubhouse in several ways. They can edit the colors of the items in the clubhouse. These items include a bean bag, shelves, crate, chair, desk, and rug. The walls then also have the option to have them with patterns on them. This can be changed at anytime by the child.
I can say that the reading skills in the children that I know personally are increasing. They are gaining skills that will later better them in life. The oldest child is already on her way to becoming a writer if she uses her skills in the correct way. This website has been very useful to our family and I hope it can benefit yours.
