Many people turn to Tide laundry detergent because it offers a HE version that can be added to front-load washing machines. They also love the fact that there is a Tide laundry detergent that is scented with Febreze. Tide also offers varieties that include Downy fabric softener, bleach, and even a version that can get your clothes clean in cold water. Tide has even taken things one step further to add a 2X formula that allows you to use a small capful of Tide to a large load of clothes. Tide definitely has the upper hand when it comes to different varieties of laundry detergent, but is more always better?
All laundry detergent is well known for its ability to easily remove stains. It was also the first laundry detergent to release a variety that was concentrated. All Mighty came long before Tide 2X. But, that's not all. All laundry detergent also offers varieties that are scent free, which are perfect for people with allergies. You can also find varieties of All laundry detergent that has Snuggle fabric softener added. While All laundry detergent doesn't have as many varieties, it's still a great brand.

I have to say that both brands do a fabulous job at cleaning clothes. But, I think Tide does a better job at making your clothes smell clean. When you remove your clothes from the dryer, you can still smell the wonderful Tide scent. To me this is an important factor, because the scent tells me the clothes are truly clean.

With the numerous varieties of Tide, and its lasting scent, comes a high price tag. Tide actually seems to be the most expensive brand on the store shelf. On the other hand, All is almost always affordable, especially if you purchase it from a large retailer like Walmart.

I buy both of these brands whenever they are on sale. But if they were available at the same price, I would have to choose Tide. Specifically, I would choose Tide with Febreze because the scent is absolutely heavenly. If either of these brands are on sale in your store, you can rest assure that either of these brands would do a great job at cleaning your clothes.

My son is doing a science fair project on laundry detergents and stains and i'm trying to get info for him. I've tried to email the companies and I'm not getting anywhere. Is there somewhere i can go to get him the info that he needs?
i have been a user of tide for more years than i can count. however, your recent compact packaging along with your unreasonable rise in price leaves me no choice but to change to another less expensive brand. it may not be as effective but at least it is affordable. i question the claims that one can use less of the new tide detergents and still get the same quality of cleanliness.
I think the whoever wrote this did a good job. In my opinion Tide is the best laundry detergent that i have ever used. Cuz i have never used any laundry detergent that when i put myu clothes on I get a good wife of the scent.

This article is very poorly written - could you rewrite it with some actual research into these companies?
that is BS that one laundry detergent would fade clothes faster than another, if you do your laundry correctly (ie: separate colors). the only reason the army told you to buy one of FOUR laundry detergents is because they are getting payed by those companies, obviously
I think that tid eis good but all Is better all get my socks whiter than tide does I have to pre-treat my socks when I use tide and plus it fades my darks I don't like that if I wanted gray shirts I would buy one but I want black ones and it to expensive!!!! Go all detergent your the best
