TIED TO A STRING HUNT:
First you will need a few items to get this hunt ready. You will need yarn, 2 baskets for each child, and candy to fill one Easter basket with per child. You will also need large plastic eggs and extra candy and Easter treats to place into the eggs.
Start beside the child's bed with an empty basket, tied to a string of yarn. Next, string the yarn all over the house in circles, up and down stairs, even out into the garage and back in, over furniture and everywhere. Make it fun and interesting. Along the way of the string, place eggs with candy and Easter gifts in them, like money or coins. The kids will collect these along the way. The kids should also collect their string as they go, so that they follow it correctly and do not get lost.
This string will then lead them to their Easter basket. Make it interesting and fun, and don't make it too obvious from the trail where their Easter basket is hiding, they should have to follow the string of treats completely to find the Easter basket.
