Tiffany Evans Self Titled Album Review

The Reviewer
Tiffany Evans has had star material ever since she was born. From a very young age Tiffany was winning on popular national television shows such as Star Search and Showtime At The Apollo. After such exposure, Tiffany landed a record deal and is ready to release her self titled debut album. Although Tiffany is only fifteen years old, she is ready to show the world that she is the next big thing in R&B. Will her self-titled debut album live up to the hype?

The first single off of Tiffany Evans is the infectious Promise Ring featuring R&B singer Ciara. The song was produced by Mr. Collipark of Ying Yang Twins and Bubba Sparxxx fame and written by R&B heavyweights The Clutch. The song is incredibly catchy. The beat just makes you want to dance. The subject matter is also age appropriate which is important.

The second single off of the album is I'm Grown featuring Bow Wow. The track is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. The song is solid yet not one of the best tracks on the album.

Impossible is written by R&B star Ne-Yo and produced by Shea Taylor. The song is one of the stronger tracks on the album. The track features a drumbeat similar to Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl.

Thinkin' About is produced by Soulshock & Karlin. The song is another very solid R&B track. Tiffany shows off her incredible vocal range on the track.

Lay Back, Chill And Be Free is produced by Jasper Cameron. The song is featured in the video of I'm Grown. The song is another very solid R&B track.

Girl Gone Wild is written by The Clutch and produced by Brian Kiddy. The song features a very strong beat. However the rest of the song is just lacking a bit.

About A Boy is a collaboration between The Clutch and Eric Hudson. The song features a solid beat and solid production. The track is one of the better ones on the album.

Favorite Broken Heart will appeal to R&B purists. The song is solid and extremely catchy. The song is one of the slower efforts on the album.

Angels On Earth is the perfect way to wrap up the album. The song is one of the few true ballads on the album and is very large in scope. This is Tiffany's coming out moment vocally.

Overall Tiffany Evans is a solid debut album. The album features solid production, writing and vocal delivery. Overall Tiffany Evans gets 8 out of 10. If you're a fan of the Tiffany Evans make sure you get her self titled new album when it is available in stores on April 22nd.
