Although he used "indefinite" to announce his leave, he should really consider coming back soon to the PGA Tour and achieve something again for his self and overcome the negative forces that surrounds him.
Golf is what he does best; he should stick to it and bring more trophies and winnings, instead of letting all the negative publicities ruin him completely.
Gary D'Amato of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on his today's commentary said that there is "no way Tiger will miss the Masters (April 8-11), no matter the condition of his marriage or the progress of his self-examination. He will not, he cannot, pass on an opportunity to draw one step closer to Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major championship titles, a record that is Woods' life mission."
I hope that Tiger should really come to his senses and accept everything as it is and move on. In the first place, he knows that he has no one to blame but himself.
Indeed, there 101 temptations that come along with fame, money and glory. I do believe that for someone young, successful and appealing as him, even if he doesn't look for it; temptation will knock on his door, persuade and lure him. But, he could have avoided this nightmare, if he knew his priorities. His transgressions could have never happen really, if he could have been responsible. Yes, it's all but "water under the bridge now," and he just can't get stuck, or cry over a spilled milk. He should get up and move forward!
D'Amato further noted that "the number of chances is finite: four per year until a golfer reaches his mid-40s, when his skills begin to decline. Woods knows each start in a major is precious and any major he skips is one he can never get back."
Tiger has just turned 34 (years of age) last Dec. 30, and he still has 6 more years before he reaches 40 to accomplish more in golf before his stamina and physical skills start to go down.
The major championship venues this year are set up for Woods to hit the Grand Slam. Can he afford to miss that?
The more he eludes, the more he allows his detractors to dig more on his personal life, just for him to come out. And the more he hides himself, the more that they will come after him.
Tiger Woods should really go back to course and play golf. For the more he plays and have his fans cheer for him, the better chances he can get good publicities rather than bad.
