Tiger! Recent Experiences Prove You Cannot Really Win Without God!

Your life undoubtedly proves the truth in the following assertion Jesus, the Christ, made to His disciples more than 2,000 years ago: "I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch that doesn't produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned for greater fruitfulness by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:1-5; All Scriptures quoted from the New Living Translation unless noted otherwise).

Let's examine the facts! You obviously possess extraordinary mental, emotional, and physical gifts. By empowering you to use those gifts, God has also gifted you with uncommon financial blessings. Bear with me as I quote from three principles from the Scriptures--the Bible-- to substantiate that claim--God has gifted you with uncommon financial blessings:

Deut. 8:18: "Always remember that it is the Lord your God who gives you power to become rich, and he does it to fulfill the covenant he made with your ancestors."

Prov. 10:22: "The blessings of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it."

James 1:17 "Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above, who created all heaven's lights. Unlike them, he never changes or casts shifting shadows."

Tiger, God does not gift us that we might proceed through life selfishly, indulging our desires, or even fulfilling our self-centered dreams. God grants all of His blessings so that He can use each of us to bless others. Consider the principle that governs what God expects from us as He blesses us: " . . .Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:48).

Tiger, I searched the internet thoroughly to see if I could discover a hint of your spiritual condition and I have concluded that you continue to walk according to the course of this world (age), according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh, and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others . . .[that] you are without Christ, being

From this point, all Scriptures are quoted from the New King James version of the Bible.

I base this conclusion on two quotes I discovered about you, one allegedly from your mother and another allegedly from your father. Your father, Earl Woods, was quoted to have said: "Tiger will do more than any other man in history to change the course of humanity. He is the Chosen One. He'll have the power to impact nations, not people, nations." This same source quoted your mother--Kultida--to have said: "Tiger has Thai, African, Chinese, American Indian, and European blood. He can hold everyone together. He is the Universal Child."

Those two quotes, if they are accurate, indicate that your parents attempted to deify you. How tragic! Only Jesus is prophesied to change the course of humanity and is the Chosen One. Jesus, the Christ alone is the Universal Child, the Universal Savior--King of kings and Lord of lords.

Tiger, please consider what God says about you in your natural state: "The sin of [Tiger] is written with a pen of iron; with the point of a diamond it is engraved on the tablet of [his] heart and on the horns of [his] altars . . .Thus says the Lord: 'Cursed is the man who trusts in man (including himself) and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes. But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited . . . [Tiger's] heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it.'" (Jeremiah 17:1,5,9) Of course, I have paraphrased these verses to apply them to you personally. Please understand Tiger, I am not picking on you. I write to serve you because you, like all of us, need God's help.

You cannot achieve life's most outstanding outcomes with twisted priorities. That's the bad news. Now, the good news.

"Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things [the basics and the abundant life] will be added. (Matt. 6:33) and again in Luke 12:31-34: "But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

At this point, it would be easy, even appropriate for you to claim that I am judging you, maybe even unfairly. I know it's easy to say--afterall I'm only human. Or maybe even: "I've not done anything that anyone else hasn't done." You're right for, according to the Bible: "All have sinned and come short of God's glory." (Rom. 6:23). Those excuses will not get you one step closer to a real solution. And yes, I am delivering a judgment, based upon God's authority in the Bible. " . . . as it is written: 'eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but 'the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man [you, Tiger] does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For 'who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?' But we [those of us who are Spirit directed) have the mind of Christ." (1Cor. 2:9-16).

Tiger, it's not too late. In fact, despite what everyone else might think, I'm here to tell you, by the power and authority of Jesus, the Christ, that you are today in the best position you have ever been. God, the Father, has drawn you to Christ through these failings fueled by your sinful nature. In John 6:44, Jesus declared that "No one can come to me except the Father who sent me draws him." In the very next verse, Jesus further declared: "And all who come to me shall be taught by the Father."

Imagine that Tiger, God has positioned you to learn from the greatest mind in existence, the greatest lessons possible. God has called you to this crossroads to profoundly change your priorities and bless you beyond anything you can now understand. Yes, you will suffer loss, but again listen to the words of Jesus, the Christ: " . . .everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life." (Matt. 19:29)

Tiger, consider what I believe. I believe God has designated you to be one of His elect, chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight (See Eph. 1:3). I believe God moved me to write this to you--the gospel message. I believe God has enlivened your human spirit, and as you read this message, He will supply the faith necessary to believe it, (See Eph.2:8-10). When you believe, Jesus will circumcise your sinful nature, (See Col. 2:9-11) and the Holy Spirit will enter you and unite with your human spirit, thus sealing you in God's promise of eternal life (See Eph. 1:13-14). Thus you will become a new creation, (See 2Cor. 5:17-20)

Once sealed, you will confront a clear set of new marching orders, the power of execution guaranteed by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Consider these new orders:

"If you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God . . .Therefore, put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves, once walked when you lived in them. But now you, yourselves, are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek, nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love which is the bond of perfection (maturity). And let the peace of God rule in your hearts to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." (Col. 3:1-17)
