Tiger Woods shot a second day 68 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Friday. At this writing he was just 4 stokes out of first. He shot a 73 on Thursday. He is 3 under for the tournament. Spencer Levin is the leader at 8 under par. Charles Howell III had a great day as he shot a 65. He is tied for second. There are still two rounds remaining.
With less than two weeks before the first major tournament of the year, many players are trying to tune up for a run at the "Green Jacket."
Tiger Woods is a six time winner at the Bay Hill classic. His birdie on the 18Th hole was a great way to finish off the day and stay in contention, for the rest of the weekend. His birdie was about from 55 feet away. It was at Torrey Pines that Tiger was five stokes back, before falling apart on the weekend. Tiger is hoping for better results this weekend at the Classic.
The cut off looks to be at a plus 4 over par. This tells me that there are a lot of good scores and a lot of players bunched close together for the final two days.
The final two days of this tournament could show if tiger and others are ready for the Masters in two weeks.
The weather conditions were better today after strong gusts of wind bothered many of the players yesterday.

Post a CommentI have a hard time rooting for Tiger too since the luster has come off the shine. Go Phil Mickelson.
I wonder what he will do when he's too old to play competitively. I can't see him designing golf courses. Hmm...perhaps marketing a line or two of merchandise.
Perhaps he should consider changing his name to Master Bater ?!
Thanks Bill..... :o)
Thanks!
Is anyone really rooting for Tiger anymore Bill?
