Tiger Woods Cited for Crash, Accident Case Closed Without Criminal Charges

According to CBS, Tiger Woods will be cited for Friday morning's crash. The Florida Highway Patrol is closing the Tiger Woods car accident case with issuing a citation to Tiger for careless driving. No criminal charges are pending, and Woods will face a $164 fine. This closes the case for Tiger Woods, who avoided giving an official statement as to what happened to cause the car accident. The car accident has been in the center of a media blitz. Rumors started by celebrity gossip site TMZ contend that Tiger Woods and Elin Woods were fighting immediately prior to the accident. TMZ rumors contend that Elin Woods caused Tigers' injuries. Tiger Woods put a statement on his Web site in which he took "full responsibility" for the wreck and claimed that all rumors were not true.

Even though the Florida Highway Patrol has closed the case on car accident, things are still heating up for the pro-golfer. While Rachel Uchitel denies that she had an affair with Tiger Woods and has sought the assistance of celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, another young woman is stepping forward. This time, it's Jaimee Grubbs, a former participant in VH1's Tool Academy. Us Weekly is going to have an issue hit the stands tomorrow detailing Jaimee Grubbs' account of the alleged affair. They claim to have over 300 text messages to prove her claims.

The news that Tiger Woods was cited comes after an afternoon press conference that was held by the neighbors' lawyer. He said that his clients didn't see anything that indicated that there was any form of domestic violence near the time of the attack. They added that Elin Woods looked concerned for her husband and added that she did not have a golf club when they saw her.

A lawyer on "The Early Show" commended Tiger for keeping his mouth shut. He said that keeping quiet is exactly what to do in a case like this - don't talk to anyone and hope it blows over. Tiger was well within his rights to not give a statement about the crash to police.

Now that there's a second alleged mistress, Tiger won't be putting any of this behind him any time soon. We still don't know what Gloria Allred and Rachel Uchitel are discussing. We still don't know what is going to come of these allegations made by Jaimee Grubbs. Even though the Florida Highway Patrol has put an end to the car crash case, the media is just getting started.
