Tiger Woods Cited for Reckless Driving by FHP

Move Over Rachel Uchitel; It's Time for Jaimee Grubbs and More Affair Accusations

The Florida Highway Patrol held a press conference on Tuesday to explain that Tiger Woods is being cited for "reckless driving", a moving violation with a penalty of up to a $164 fine. This would be the end of the investigation of the accident involving Tiger Woods, a fire hydrant and a tree last weekend.

The "investigation" is far from over, though. Women are already coming forward with stories of affairs with Tiger Woods. The National Enquirer first broke the story (believed to have possibly sparked a fight between Woods and wife Elin Nordegren the night of the accident). That is all speculation as Woods has declined to leave his house for interviews since the accident. Speculation is that the injuries to his face may not match the damage to the vehicle. Like any of us has a forensic background beyond a Thursday night episode of CSI.

According to TMZ, Us Weekly is running a story next week featuring a new woman, Jaimee Grubbs (of VH-1's "Tool Academy"), claiming a long term affair with Tiger. This is not going to be pretty. Somebody better find Tiger a diamond bigger than Kobe's. The traffic violation and property damage are starting to look very small. The train wreck is yet to come. As of this publication, Jaimee Grubbs has released several text messages allegedly from Woods to Radaronline.com. The San Francisco Chronicle reports they fail to prove any affair.

The saddest part of the story is that the couple have two very young children, Sam Alexis (b.6/18/2007) and Charlie Axel (b.2/08/2009). Tiger should have been thinking of them when he travels. Hopefully Elin Nordegren, Tiger's wife was thinking of them and truly acted valiantly in trying to save her husband by bashing out the windows on his SUV. I doubt it. TMZ has already reported that Tiger confided in a friend that she attacked him. Not that I blame her in any way for going ballistic, no one should stand for cheating. Just a modicum of self respect needs to be upheld. Pack it up and leave the cheater, but do no harm.

Once there are children involved in any relationship they have to come first. What they see, hear and even the stories they will learn about later affect their personalities. The children also learn problem solving from their parents. Yelling and screaming coming from mom and dad (or god forbid golf club wielding) are perfect bad examples for tiny eyes. Take the kids to a friend's and go somewhere alone to scream. I'm no professional. I have no degree. It's just common sense.

Ever since the story of Tiger Woods' car accident broke, most of the world has watched to see how it all unfolds. There is plenty of other news, but let's face it when a hero takes a tumble we all turn to see. Whether it be from morbid curiosity or more of a reassurance that there are no real "heroes" in sports (they are just games).

We are all human, even the great ones make mistakes. That's for sure. When a sports icon like Tiger Woods falls from the graces of fidelity though, it's news. Tiger Woods has such a squeaky clean image, never seen out clubbing on TMZ. This story was just perfect for the gossip rags... and me too, sadly.
