Tiger Woods Deserves Privacy

SB
Tiger Woods is entitled to his rights and just like an ordinary citizen, he deserves privacy!

He already did what he's supposed to do, by submitting all the facts to the authorities; to the police.

Contrary to some pessimists' opinions that Woods is just triggering more speculation and interest surrounding his car accident, issues would subside and die eventually if there's nothing to talk about. And, whether he speaks or not, people would still talk about what happened simply because, he's a celebrity. If he talks, he would just join the circus and might incriminate his self in the long run.

If investigators want to dig more of the incident, they should just do their job. And, whatever the result might be; enforced it as how the law would require it.

The society is very judgmental on celebrities like Woods. Celebs are always prone to cynicism and biased judgment. And, the more they participate, cooperate and engage into any issue, the more likely to get screwed up.

Woods is already an icon. He's one of the richest athletes in the world. He got his wealth, fame and reputation by doing best in his profession; in his sports, in golf. He didn't get everything that he has right now from messy scandals, he worked hard for it! And, he deserves some respect. After all, there's nothing wrong in being "notoriously private" because, that's his rights!

If the law enforcement believes that he deserves to get cited for careless driving, so be it!

Woods have substantially satisfied Florida law of all the requirements needed for the investigation of the accidents and the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed this.

"With the issuance of this citation, the Florida Highway Patrol has completed its investigation into this matter," Major Cindy Williams told the Associated Press.

FHP even admitted that there is no sufficient evidence to request subpoena for medical information and that there's no sign of domestic abuse. So, why keep igniting the controversy?

Woods doesn't need publicity anymore; he had established his legacy already. As to who needs it? Well, I hope we're all smarter than a fifth grader.

And besides, he already released a statement last Sunday on his website and admitted that he sustained cuts and bruises.

"This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me," Woods admitted. "I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again."

If Woods happened to be an ordinary individual, it would just be a regular traffic citation. And, that no single newspaper or any other media entity would ever write about it. No one would really bother about it, except his auto insurance company.

Jason, he deserves privacy. If you read all the articles, you can see my point. I'm not going after him, I pity him for what he has gone through, but, he himself admitted what he did, there's no way we can justify his infidelity, his transgression as he addressed it.
