Tiger Woods, His Hot Wife Elin Nordegren and Irish Porn Link Protests

I googled Tiger Woods' wife, and let me tell you something: she is hotter than you could ever imagine. I mean, I was totally blown away. I had never made it a point to specifically look for pictures of her-I'm not a pervert, people-and I can't stress enough how beautiful she is. She's simply gorgeous. You'd never know it by just watching the PGA events, as I learned recently. But with these new Ryder Cup developments involving Tiger's wife (former model Elin Nordegren), I'm sure a lot of interests were peaked. Let me tell you about it…

Tiger Woods turned a fairly soft news story into a full on media event when he addressed a Dublin report about pornography websites using images of his wife as links to their porn homepages. Tiger rarely shows this much emotion to off-the-course incidents and the whole fiasco has been blown up accordingly. Tiger re-scheduled his initial Ryder Cup press conference, from the K Club in Ireland, to specifically address these porn allegations. In the meeting, a defiant Tiger Woods told reporters that the use of his wife's image in this context was "unacceptable". He admitted that his bride, the afore mentioned hottie, who sometimes is referred to by her first name only ("Elin", it has a ring to it, don't you think?), has done bikini modeling in the past but has never posed nude. This brings up several interesting questions?

Even if Elin had posed nude, does this give Irish porn sites the right to link her image to completely unrelated pornography sites? And, more importantly, if Tiger Woods had chosen to ignore this story would it have ever snowballed into the mega-story that it is now? Taking that second query first, I can say with a great deal of sincerity that I would have never searched Google Image for pictures of "Elin", "Tiger's wife", "Elin Nordegren", and "Tiger's wife Elin Nordegren", if I hadn't heard about Tiger's reaction to this porn news first. If a man's goal in life is to keep as many eyes off scantily clad pictures of his wife, and some might say that it is, then Tiger Woods has failed miserably.

Hopefully, though, this whole "situation" will work itself out in the best possible way; namely, an overdue American victory at the Ryder Cup. The American squad hasn't won the Ryder Cup since 1999-and we have lost four of the last five. With many calling this year's US team the worst we've ever fielded (Johnny Miller), there's a lot riding on a good showing. Let's hope that Tiger Woods, who owns a losing record in Ryder Cup match play, can used this embarrassing story as fuel to blast Team Europe away.
