Tiger Woods - Jaimee Grubbs Mistress #2 TV Apology to Elin Woods

Mistress #2 - Jaimee Grubbs Goes on TV to Apologize to Elin Woods

Susan Jane
Just when everyone thinks the Tiger Woods scandal could be taking a rest, Mistress #2, Jaimee Grubbs, has appeared on US television to offer an apology for her involvement in the Tiger Woods scandal to Elin (Nordegren) Woods.

Extra's Lauren Sanchez interviewed Jaimee Grubbs - click HERE to read the commentary.

In the interview, Grubbs stops short of saying she "loved" Tiger Woods, but said she "cared about him". Well - it is only now that the scandal is out in the open that Jaimee Grubbs appears to be "sorry" about what her actions have done to Elin Woods. She also offered advice to Elin saying that Woods and Nordegren should "try to work" out their relationship. Like Elin Woods needs advice from one of Tiger's mistresses!

One would hope that this apology is sincere and that it is not done for monetary gain. But then Grubbs went on to say that "she wasn't sure if she'd be intimate with Woods again if he and Nordegren split up". Hello! Is this wishful thinking? Is Jaimee really sorry or secretly hoping she not only be Mistress #2 but Mrs Woods #2? Most of the interview transcript sounds a bit confused. Is this Jaimee's nervousness or does she really understand the impact and implications of her actions with Tiger Woods? To my mind, it is all very tacky.

Let us hope against hope that Mistresses #1, and #3 through to #11 don't all go on TV to tell more intimate details about how sorry they are!

Why hasn't Tiger Woods booked TV time to publicly apologize to his wife Elin?

Tiger Woods has chosen to hide away at his mansion amid the thousands of comments in the press, on TV and on the Internet. Could all the media hype have been diffused quicker if Tiger had taken the approach of putting himself on TV to publicly apologize to his wife Elin? He could have done all the mistress naming himself - #1 through to #11. The statement on his website was at best (in my humble opinion) "sterile". Who, in this world of iPods and text-ing uses the word "transgression"? That is such an old-fashioned word that sounds like it has been inserted into the message by a lawyer. Would Tiger even know the meaning of the word? It is all very well to demand privacy, but it might have been better to show some courage and face up to the situation in public.

Will all sponsors abandon Tiger Woods?

TV ads featuring Tiger Woods have been pulled from schedules and Gatorade has discontinued its sponsorship salvaging a bit of dignity by stating they decided to do this some time ago. Major sponsor Nike has offered "no comment" that I have heard of so far. Do Tiger's sponsors have more to gain than lose by remaining in his camp?

Will Tiger play tournaments in 2010?

This is anyone's guess. How will he be received if he does? It will remain speculation until it actually happens, either in 2010 or a later year.

Will Tiger flee the US to hideout in a distant location?

Running away, if that is what Tiger Woods intends to do, will not make the scandal "go away". It will only reinforce the fact that "sneaky is as sneaky does". It could make the situation worse because it will all be there if and when he tries to make a comeback - to golf or to the US.

Tiger Woods has one thing going for him - money! If he never picks up a golf club again and loses all his sponsorships, he does not have to worry about where his next meal is coming from. What he needs to do is take some "good character lessons" and change his self-indulgent attitude. If he is fortunate enough to salvage his marriage, he should put Elin Woods and his children on a pedestal and show them by example that is worthy of their love and support.

Nice write up, very well done. It's funny how I'm so sick of Tiger, but can't help but to read what's out there. He's got nerves, that's for sure!

I wrote an article (another site) where I talked about the "lucky 13" and the unlucky Tiger. Man has he really stepped into it...

Tiger's behavior seems to be a sexual addition...maybe one or two women, but he's gone into the double digits. That's just sick!!! I think Elin will stay with him just long enough to get the money. I agree with Abby...what did all of these women see in him???

If she stays married to Tiger for 7 years she gets 80 mil and he just upped it another 5 mil - that's reason(s) to stay with him (at least for another two years). I must be old becasue I just don't see what they all saw in him except his money.

I can't even imagine taking back a man who had cheated on me like that, but I heard on Inside Edition today that Elin would like to work things out with Tiger because she was a child of divorce and didn't want that for her kids. It also said that she knew about Tiger's "wild ways" before she married him, but he "promised" to settle down and be true to her once he married her. Isn't it strange that none of this came out before now?

After hitting all those "birdies" is a divorce in Tiger's future? If so....Who Gets The Coffin? Cast your vote at http://www.WeddingRingCoffin.com/who-gets-the-coffin. We'll send a Wedding Ring Coffin to the spouse with the most votes. If you have any ideas for an engraved message, leave a comment.

What a circus he has created. His sexual appetite is at a level of someone suffering from a sickness. Great article.

What a mess. I like the wife's position, though, just keep quiet, be the victim, and name your price if that's what she wants. It's a sad thing for his family, though, if they want to work it out because it's so public.

I have to wonder if all these women were really his mistresses. Where did he find the time? Golf, endorsements, family... how much free time did the guy have?
