Tiger Woods Leaves...Wife Wants to Stay

Tiger Woods has spent thousands of hours in the news. Usually, Tiger Woods is in the news because of his exploits on the golf course. Tiger Woods is arguably one of the most talented golf players of the last 50 years, if not the last 100 years. Over the last couple of weeks, Tiger Woods has been in the news for a much different reason. This week has been no different for Tiger Woods. Many news stories have kept Tiger Woods at the top of the news.

Report: Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren may stay for kids
Since the begin of Tiger Woods's current scandal, women have poured out of the woordwork. Each woman claims having an affair with Tiger Woods. AM New York describes the current Tiger Woods scandal phenomenon. So far, eleven woman have come forward claiming to have had affairs with Tiger Woods. However, Tiger Woods's wife Elin Nordegren may not leave him. AM New York reports that Elin Norgren might stay for their children.

Sports digest: Jack Nicklaus says Tiger Woods' troubles 'none of my business'
Tiger Woods's current scandal has dominated the woods for the last couple of weeks. While many news consumers seem to want to hear more about Tiger Woods; however, there is at least one person who seems to think enough is enough. MercuryNews.com reports that Jack Nicklaus does not think that Tiger Woods's current scandal is any of his business. Too bad, a larger number of news outlets do not think this about Tiger Woods's scandal. Are there not any more important issues to report? Did the United States deficit disappear?

For Real, Why Are Tiger Woods' Sponsors Fleeing?
Recently, Tiger Woods's sponsors have begun distancing themselves from them. Gornstein reported, "Well, there's dissing, and then there's out-and-out thrashing Tiger Woods with the virtual nine iron of shame. Both are going on at this hour: Tag Heuer merely pulled images of the big swinger, while Gatorade full-on got rid of its Tiger Woods-inspired energy drink." While Tiger Woods's sponsors are distancing themselves, they are still claiming that his nothing to do with Tiger Woods's current scandal. I find it interesting that Tiger Woods's sponsors feel it necessary to distance themselves from him; however, Tiger Woods's sponsors still feel Tiger Woods is popular enough to not out right "diss" him.

Tiger Woods 'spent $65k on prostitutes'
Over the last couple of weeks, Tiger Woods has been linked (or at least they claim he has) to multiple women. Each of these women, are claiming to have had affairs with Tiger Woods. Today, the story took an even odder turn. Tiger Woods is being accused of spending thousands of dollars on prostitutes. 9 News reported, "Disgraced golf legend Tiger Woods spent $65,000 on visits from several high-priced prostitutes, a Hollywood madam has claimed."

Has Tiger Woods Already Left Home?
I found this an interesting Tiger Woods article, in light of the article that Eli Nordgren may stay for the children. Gomez reported, "Local residents believe that the athlete slipped out while the media attention was focused on his mother-in-law -- who had to be rushed from the Woods home, to a local hospital with "stomach pains"." By no means does this story give hard evidence that Tiger Woods has moved out. This highlights how news agencies are falling over each other, to find a new angle, on the current Tiger Woods scandal.

Rachel Uchitel In PLAYBOY? Tiger Woods' Alleged Mistress Reportedly Considering Offer
It is no surprise that almost a dozen women have claimed to have had affairs with Tiger Woods. After all, news agencies are quick to print any women making affair claims, against Tiger Woods. This Hugging Post story illustrates exactly why women keep "coming out of the woodwork". Huffington Post reported, "Extra reports that Rachel Uchitel, one of Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses, may pose in Playboy magazine. According to the article, Uchitel is negotiating a fee and reportedly "wants a lot of money," sources tell Extra." This should make anyone wonder, "How many of these women really had affairs with Tiger Woods?" because there is obviously a strong motivation to make affair claims.

No Congressional Gold Medal for Tiger Woods
I found this article interesting for several reasons. First, this story stated that Congressman Joe Baca has been working on getting Tiger Woods a Congressional Gold Medal. Second, that a Democratic Congressman, from California, considers Tiger Woods's current scandal enough to give up, seeking a Congressional Medal. Bissonnette quoted Congressman Joe Baca as saying, ""In light of the recent developments surrounding Tiger Woods and his family, I will not pursue legislation awarding him the Congressional Gold Medal this session," said Baca in a statement."

Tiger Woods -- Women claim affairs, men criticize, and the public enjoys
This story illustrates that Tiger Woods's current scandal may have become a classic "chicken or the egg problem". Goodstone explains about all the different groups, moving to speak out about Tiger Woods's affairs. If everything is true, (many of Tiger Woods's affairs are still alleged) would so many people be interested if they stayed private? If Tiger Woods and his wife had simply said, "We are having marital problems and seeking counseling." then would there have been so much interest? This story speaks about golfers Jesper Parnevik, Ben Crane, and Charles Warren, speaking out against Tiger Woods. I find it interesting that these golfers are not normally in the news. Yet, they make national news for speaking out against Tiger Woods. It really questions their motives.

Taiwan says no to Tiger Woods-style animated news
When it comes to the Tiger Woods scandal, it appears Tiawanese media may be smarter than American media. Current Tiger Woods scandal is the type of news story that can create its own pull. As Tiger Woods's scandal gets more news then more people come out make claims and/or commenting on the Tiger Woods scandal. Taiwan is cutting this off at the hilt. Tiawanese government decided that a recreation of Tiger Woods car accident was too graphic for children. Huang reported, "On two consecutive days last month the Taipei municipal government fined the paper 500,000 New Taiwan dollars ($15,500) for failing to protect the city's youth from exposure to vivid crime scenes. The paper issued a public apology and promised to make its animations less graphic."

Us Magazine may be scraping the bottom, of the Tiger Woods scandal, with this article. This Us Magazine story is simply a list of stars such as Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Wycle Jean, Terrell Owens, Denis Rodman, and many more. Since when did these stars become the moral compass for America. I truly believe, "people living in glass houses should not throw stones". Keeping this in mind, How many of these stars are qualified to sit in judgement of Tiger Woods?

Tiger Woods has long been a media favorite. After all, Tiger Woods appeared to be a clean cut boy that made it in golf. Tiger Woods has been winning a large amount of tournaments and money. Tiger Woods also married a super model. Tiger Woods's current scandal is leaving many news outlets scampering to dig up a new angle or more of the story. But, does Tiger Woods's current scandal change how he plays golf? Everyone is human, let those who are perfect criticize Tiger Woods. Anyone who is not perfect, should refrain from passing judgement on Tiger Woods.
