Tiger Woods Mistresses Count Reaches Double Figures

The Tiger Woods mistresses count has reached double figures. According to multiple media outlets, Tiger Woods now has 11 alleged mistresses. Now, it is important to emphasize that these are alleged mistresses but, if Tiger did indeed bed all of these women, one has to wonder how he found the time to play golf? Or why he bothered to get married in the first place? Here is a list of Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses (three remain unidentified):

Rachel Uchitel - Rachel Uchitel is Woods' first alleged mistress. She is a party promoter who resides in New York city.

Jaimee Grubbs - Grubbs is a Los Angeles cocktail waitress who claims to have text messages and voicemails from Tiger Woods.

Kalika Moquin - Kalika Moquin is a marketing director in Las Vegas.

Mindy Lawton - Lawton is a 33-year-old waitress from Orlando, Florida who claims to have had a 3-month-long affair with Woods.

Cori Rist - Cori Rist claims that she met Tiger Woods at a New York nightclub; they allegedly had a 6-month-long affair.

Jamie Jungers - Jamie Jungers, 26, claims she met Woods in Las Vegas.

Holly Sampson - Holly Sampson, 36, is a porn star and the most well known of all Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses.

Veronica Siwik-Daniel - Siwik-Daniel, who is also know as Joslyn James, is a porn star.

How long is this list going to get? It seems to be that Tiger Woods' reputation may be damaged beyond repair. This is not to say that he won't continue to play golf and win tournaments, but his days as a role model with an unassailable reputation are most probably over. Perhaps he could begin to turn things around if he were to grant an interview, with, say, Oprah Winfrey or Barbara Walters and come clean (His "transgressions" statement is vague and open to interpretation - he needs to do more if he wants to restore his image.) He could either confess that he is a serial philanderer or dispute and deny the claims of his alleged mistresses. The longer he remains silent and sequestered, the more culpable he appears to be.

Meanwhile, the Tiger Woods scandal has completely overshadowed the year's other scandals involving sports figures. Back in January, reports surfaced that basketball star Dwyane Wade had allegedly given his wife an STD (sexually transmitted disease). Later in the year, the Rick Pitino scandal surfaced. Ultimately, the Lousiville basketball coach admitted that he had sex with a woman (not his wife) in an Italian restaurant.

Perhaps the most tragic story of 2009 involving a sports figure is that of former quarterback Steve McNair, who was shot to death by his mistress while asleep on a couch. She then turned the gun on herself. And who will ever forget the Erin Andrews peephole scandal? Andrews was filmed in the nude through a peephole in multiple hotel rooms without her knowledge or consent. The videos were leaked onto the Internet, causing Andrews to suffer tremendous emotional pain and humiliation.

To be sure, 2010 will have its fair share of sex scandals. Some may involve sports figures; others will involve actors, reality TV stars or politicians. Sex scandals will keep coming and the public's insatiable interest in them will never die.
