Tiger Woods Overdose -- but Not Enough Evidence for Investigation?

Explains the Fire Hydrant and the Tree but Not All Those Mistresses

It is being reported that Tiger Woods was admitted as an "overdose" at the Health Central Hospital on the night of his accident. TMZ reported Tuesday that sources at the medical facility revealed that the medical chart lists "OD" (overdose) is listed as the reason for his admission. His wife, Elin Nordegren, was with him. Sources also say that the famed golfer was having trouble breathing when he arrived at the hospital and he was admitted under the pseudonym "William Smith."

The latest reports seem to be jibing with reports from other media outlets like "Nancy Grace." On the current affairs program Monday evening, several sources alluded to Woods' use of prescription medication. He was also seen to be snoring and fading in and out of consciousness, consistent with the actions of someone taking sleeping medication and/or intoxicated, at the location where his Cadillac Escalade had slammed into a tree. TMZ had earlier reported that Elin Nordegren had given paramedics two pill bottles for two medications,Vicodin and Ambien, at the scene of the accident.

Nancy Grace revealed that a witness (who has been tentatively identified as Elin Nordegren) told police that Tiger Woods had been drinking earlier in the day and that he was on sleeping medication and a powerful painkiller. But police reported later that alcohol was not a factor in the accident. In fact, a request by the police for medical records that would illuminate whether or not Tiger Woods was intoxicated had been denied by Florida state's attorney Steve Foster for "insufficient information" to issue a subpoena for those records.

Insufficient information would equal: running over a fire hydrant, hitting a tree, Elin Nordegren having to knock out the windows of the SUV with a golf club to pull the unconscious driver (Tiger Woods) from the vehicle (which could also mean that she really didn't chase Woods and "distract" him by smashing the window), and finding Tiger Woods stretched out unconscious in the street behind his crashed SUV. Celebrity gossip sites, tabloids, and local news organizations have found that Woods was treated as an overdose at the hospital, but law enforcement and prosecutors could not find enough to continue with their investigation.

So Tiger Woods was taken to the Health Central Hospital and treated as an overdose, everything at the crash scene pointed to a DUI, including eyewitness testimony, but there was "insufficient information" to get a subpoena for his medical records to prove he was intoxicated, so authorities issued Woods a citation for careless driving and hit him with a $164 fine.

No wonder Nancy Grace charged the local authorities with giving Tiger Woods "celebrity treatment.

Because surely they are not that inept.

Nancy Grace's comment "Why do they always cheat down" makes her look like a snob who thinks she is better than others. Maybe men "cheat down" because the gals who think they are so high class won't do the things that please a man!! Think about it!! Cheating down?

First things first. The hospital and the person providing the 'OD' info need to get fined for a HIPPA violation.

I wonder how long he'd been taking any meds - days, weeks or longer? Amazing how well he played golf if he was on them for very long.
