Tiger Woods PGA Tour "06"

If there was any golf game I could recommend to anyone, this would be the one HANDS DOWN...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour "06" is THE best golf game I have ever played for the PC. I have this game as well for XBOX, but for some reason I enjoy it much more on my PC. The graphics are great, the sound is superb, but best of all the game is great fun. I highly recommend this game for all sports fans.

There are many versions of play allowed in this game. You can create your own character and try to beat the best. Or you can pick one of your favorite PGA Tour Players and use them as well. Some of the versions you can choose from are PGA Tour Season, Custom, Lessons, Practice, and On-line play. There are many surprises in the game while playing. You can earn sponsors and receive awards to display in your own personal office.

I currently am playing the PGA Tour season. I worked my way up from an amateur and am playing against the pros right now. The only thing is, once you truly begin to learn how to play the game it can become very easy to master, like most games. But changing the difficulty of the game will keep you on your toes, and also make the matches closer in score.

You can use both a joystick (sold separately) or the keyboard with mouse to play this game. I bought the joystick, but use the keyboard and mouse instead. The joystick cost around $30.00 but for some reason i just prefer the keyboard and mouse (GO FIGURE). I would highly recommend the paddle as you can use it for many games.

The most amazing parts of the game in my opinion is the graphics. I have noticed that the graphics on XBOX make the characters all look basically the same, where as the PC version doesn't do that. Each character has his or her own unique skills and styles of play. The courses are also a spectacular feature for this game. The courses are so life-like that it almost feels like you are right there. The greens are green and the flags blow with the wind. Truly a great feature.

My girlfriend is also addicted to this game and she would be the first to tell you that when it comes to sports, she is not a fan. She has just as much fun playing as I do. So if you aren't a big sports fan or golf fan I truly believe that doesn't matter. You will have fun with this game and thats all that counts. It truly is a fun and remarkable game to play.
