Tiger Woods Spits and Justin Bieber Fans Show Poor Taste (Links)

Tiger Woods was obviously less-than-pleased with his performance at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic this past weekend, and Justin Bieber fans went ballistic when their god-like teen singing sensation did not win Best New Artist at last nights' Grammys.

But there's a critical difference in how the once most preeminent golfer in the world showed his displeasure with his performance and how Justin Bieber himself reacted to losing the Grammy to 26-year-old Jazz singer Esperanza Spalding.

Apparently, Tiger Woods committed a golf faux pas when he spat on the 12^th green during the Omega Classic. According to commentator Ewen Murray regarding Tiger's etiquette transgression, "Disgusting, what he has just done there ... there are some parts of him that are just arrogant and petulant. Somebody now has to come behind him and maybe putt over his spit. It does not get much lower than that."

Tiger may have been spitting mad or even spitting feathers over his poor performance but it looks like after The European Tour decided to fine Woods an undisclosed sum, the golfer took a step back and reevaluated his behavior.

In fact, Tiger posted the following on his Twitter Page later, "The Euro Tour is right - it was inconsiderate to spit like that and I know better. Just wasn't thinking and want to say I'm sorry."

On the other hand, the much beloved teen sensation Justin Bieber took his 'loss' for the Best New Artist award at the 2011 Grammys in a much better stride. Sadly though, Bieber's fans were quick to jump on the Spalding haters list by editing and updating the singer's Wikipedia page in a not-so-nice fashion. According to a report by Gawker.com, some people changed her middle name to 'Quesadilla' and 'Justin', while others wrote more sinister comments such as "JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?"
