A Canadian doctor, Anthony Gaela is under investigation in the United States on suspicion of giving steroids to hundreds of athletes. What has this got to do with Tiger Woods? Yes, you guessed it, he is one of them.

The FBI is looking into this doctor who treated Tiger Woods in February and March this year for his knee recovery. Gaela flew to Orlando four times during this time to treat the world's number one golfer. "Tiger Woods people" were concerned about the slow recovery Woods was experiencing after his knee surgery and called in this doctor to treat him.

Dr. Anthony Gaela was arrested in October while crossing into the US from Canada. Actobegin, a performance enhancing drug was found in his bag. This drug is illegal in the US. Along with the FBI, the Royal Mounted Police are investigating him for smuggling, advertising and selling this unapproved drug.

Tiger Woods "People" Ask The Press Not To Print This.

The New York Times reports they tried to contact Wood's people and got a response by email from Mark Steinberg of IMG. "I would really ask that you guys don't write this? If Tiger is NOT implicated, and won't be, let's please give the kid a break."

The wording of this response is strange "let's please give the kid a break". Tiger Woods is not a kid, although he once was the famous "kid" of the world of golf, he is a grown man now. Maybe this could be part of Tiger's problem. That he and everyone that he surrounds himself with still think of him as a "kid"?

The sponsors have all pulled away from using Tiger Woods in their advertising, all except for Nike. This newest steroid possibility could be the deal breaker for this company.
