Tiger Woods Steroids and HGH Rumors Next?

Nancy P. Goodman, in Tennessee
Tiger Woods on steroids or HGH? Surely not? It seemed just a few weeks ago that the squeaky clean golfer didn't have any dirty secrets. Within the past few weeks, rumors of alleged affairs have surfaced and Tiger Woods isn't so squeaky clean anymore. Tiger Woods has admitted his infidelity. But what's next for the golfer as the scandal continues to grow?

How about this? Tiger Woods has been linked with a doctor who was arrested trying to cross into the United States from Canada. That doctor, Anthony Galea, is allegedly being investigated for providing some athletes with performance enhancing drugs. Galea was arrested when he crossed the border with Human Growth Hormone.

Does this automatically mean that Tiger Woods was using HGH or steroids? Of course it doesn't yet. Tiger Woods is innocent until proven guilty but the rollercoaster of evidence against his squeaky clean image continues to rumble. Even if some of the information coming in is not legitimate.

There is no doubt some will speculate that a golfer like Tiger Woods couldn't crush drives on a regular basis without use of performance enhancing drugs. Tiger Woods though has been consistently driving the ball long distances thoughout his entire career. It seems far fetched that Tiger Woods would make a decision to take HGH, steroids or any other peformance enhancing drugs to improve his already incredible golf game. Unless we've all been fooled again by Tiger? I surely hope not.

According to a New York Daily news article, Dr. Anthony Galea flew to Tiger Woods home to perform a "blood spinning" therapy some time ago. Does this mean Tiger Woods is linked to HGH or steroids? Absolutely not yet. The jury is still out but it certainly is worth examining if there is some evidence that says Tiger Woods could have used banned performance enhancing substances. This is the first talk I've heard of a golfer being linked to HGH or steroids. It would make some sense for a golfer to use Human Growth Hormones or steroids to gain an advantage in strength on driving the ball. That's if they couldn't drive the ball far to start with. My guess is no way did Tiger Woods use HGH or steroids nor did he need to. Unless he was trying to recover quicker from the knee injury.? Still, I can't imagine HGH played a factor in Tiger Woods recovery or the development of his golf game. Golf is a finesse sport and Tiger has long been outdriving much of the competition. It just kind of doesn't add up that Tiger Woods would have chosen to use steroids of HGH. I'm one of the minority that probably believes Tiger Woods is innocent with this rumor. Only time will tell if my convictions are right. Let's hope Tiger isn't fooling anybody this time around.
