Tiger Woods Talks Friday

Was it Ever a Press Conference?

Tiger Woods wants a Friday talk from Florida. Are you busy at 11 a.m.? The once thought of "news conference" is quickly turning into a one-way chat in a controlled environment.

No questions by the few reporters present and it's not appearing to be a public affair. However, it consists of public awareness since Tiger Woods' statement will be airing live. But what's on Tiger's mind?

There's an apology leak, a rumored future path in the cut dry release. Doesn't sound much like a news story, but it is. Four months ago many didn't not expect Tiger Woods to have multiple mistresses, nor did it seem as if Tiger Woods could ever tarnish his squeaky clean image. But three months ago that all changed when Tiger Woods' secrets came to light, he's not immortal after all. He has flaws.

When the flaw meter shot through the charts, Tiger tarnished his reputation, his sponsors, and his wife's trust. But the real story was his sexy voice message. Who knew "slick" had it in him to try and cover his tracks.

And now, after three months of a declining career outside of his actual golfing skills, what Tiger Woods words would the listener want to hear?

"You're so good lookin'."

He most likely is going to come clean like anyone who has been in rehab does, including sex rehab. It has been the aftermath plan with many celebrities. Statements released when the smoke clears, a common act to move forward. A closure point to mentally put his past behind him in gaining back public trust. No matter what he says it's not going to be "you're so good lookin'."

But under Woods fragile exterior is a professional golfer, one that is willing to go that extra mile in order to save his marriage, his financial future, his reputation, and so on. Even if it means stopping the world from spinning for once just so he can tell you what's on his mind.

One thing is for sure, Tiger Woods apology will exist. But do not expect Tiger Woods to say in mid-flip, "I'm sorrrrrry!"

All in all, stay tuned for the PGA Tour headquarters' Tiger Woods 11 a.m. statement. He wants to talk to you.

it was on TV here too, I waited for the news report. A very controlled apology with no reporters at the actual press conference. hardly a conference then.

Not me, I feel sorry for him. I hope he and his family can come to terms with his addictions. Cheers.

I wouldn't watch/listen. It will probably be all BS.
